My research interests concern:

• Reading comprehension development.
• The relation between word reading and language comprehension in Spanish speakers.
• The predictors of reading comprehension, specially narrative skills. More specifically:
  • The relation between production and comprehension
  • What factors can foster narrative comprehension and production, e.g. Home Literacy practices.
  • The relation between narrative performance and reading and listening comprehension.
  • How different stimuli supports narrative performance
  • What are the links between micro and macrostructure in narrative production.
